In a slight departure from my usual content, I wanted to share some exciting news! My husband just published a new book: The Flamecaller of Stonehaven! The Flamecaller of Stonehaven is a fun adventure in which Sionis shares his story with Gianna as she tries to figure out how to save her home from a dark force. I found the characters to be engaging and loved seeing them grow throughout the story. Several moments made me laugh aloud or tear up, and I kept finding myself holding my breath to find out what happened next.
Flamecaller takes place in the same universe as Township, but with different characters and a different setting, it’s almost like a whole other world. You do not need to read one to understand the other, and both books can be read independently.
Joel first got into creative writing in grade school and currently writes professionally as a technical writer. I am so proud of Joel for sharing another novel with the world, and I’m so lucky to get to be one of the first people to read his stories and enjoy his creativity.
